2. About Sous Sol

Sous Sol is an experimental cocktail bar located in Bucharest’s Old Town, inside Concorde Old Bucharest Hotel, at Str. Franceză 38-42. The venue offers cocktails, curated music nights, private events, workshops, tastings, collaborations, and other hospitality experiences.

The information presented on this website is for general presentation, reservation, communication, and informational purposes.

3. Website use

By using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not affect the operation, security, availability, or integrity of the website.

4. Reservations

Regular table reservations for Sous Sol are handled through ialoc, our third-party booking platform.

Guests may contact Sous Sol through phone, email, contact form, or social media for general inquiries, but table reservations will be redirected to ialoc whenever required.

5. Reservation holding time and delays

Reservations are held for 15 minutes after the confirmed booking time.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late and have not contacted us, Sous Sol reserves the right to cancel the reservation and release the table.

We recommend arriving on time, especially during weekends, DJ nights, live jazz evenings, special events, or high-demand periods.

6. Deposits and large group reservations

For larger reservations made through ialoc, guests may be informed during the booking process if a deposit, minimum spend, prepayment, or other monetary condition applies.

Any such condition will be communicated before the reservation is confirmed, according to the reservation flow or event policy.

7. Cancellations and no-shows

If a guest does not arrive within 15 minutes of the confirmed reservation time, Sous Sol reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

For private events, corporate bookings, tastings, workshops, or special arrangements, cancellation terms may vary depending on the format, date, guest number, and agreed conditions.

8. Events, DJ nights, live music, movie nights, and workshops

Sous Sol may host recurring or special events, including DJ nights, live jazz evenings, movie nights, cocktail workshops, tastings, private events, cultural events, and brand activations.

Some events may be free entry, reservation-based, invite-only, or ticketed, depending on the specific event policy.

Event details, including date, time, artist lineup, menu, access policy, ticket conditions, and format, may vary and may be updated when necessary.

Sous Sol reserves the right to modify event details, artist lineups, schedules, menus, or formats when needed due to operational, artistic, safety, or other reasonable reasons.

9. Private events and collaborations

Sous Sol may host private events, semi-private gatherings, corporate events, brand launches, press nights, creator events, tastings, workshops, cultural events, and other curated experiences.

Private events are confirmed only after direct communication with Sous Sol and, where applicable, after agreement on availability, format, guest number, budget, menu, setup, payment conditions, and other event details.

Sous Sol may request an advance payment, deposit, written confirmation, or separate agreement for private events or large-scale collaborations.

10. Prices, menus, and availability

Prices, menus, products, cocktails, drinks, event formats, and availability may change without prior notice.

Images, descriptions, and menu items presented on the website are for presentation purposes and may differ from the exact products or services available at the venue on a specific date.

Certain drinks, ingredients, event menus, or special offers may be limited, seasonal, or available only during specific events.

All prices displayed at the venue or through official booking/event channels will apply according to the applicable Romanian legislation.

11. Age restriction

Access to Sous Sol is strictly limited to guests aged 18 years or older.

Minors are not allowed to enter the venue, even if accompanied by parents, guardians, or adults.

Sous Sol staff may request a valid identity document to verify age. If a guest cannot provide proof of age when requested, Sous Sol reserves the right to refuse access or service.

12. Alcohol policy

Sous Sol serves alcoholic beverages only to guests aged 18 or older.

We reserve the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol to any guest who appears visibly intoxicated, aggressive, unsafe, or unable to consume alcohol responsibly.

Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and respect the safety and comfort of others.

13. Access rules and right of refusal

Sous Sol reserves the right to refuse access or remove guests from the venue when necessary for safety, legal, operational, or guest experience reasons.

Access may be refused or withdrawn in cases including, but not limited to:

• visible intoxication;
• aggressive, abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behavior;
• harassment of guests, staff, artists, collaborators, or partners;
• possession or use of illegal substances;
• damage or attempted damage to venue property;
• refusal to follow staff instructions;
• failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions;
• failure to provide proof of age when requested;
• behavior that affects the comfort, safety, or experience of other guests.

Sous Sol may involve the relevant authorities where necessary.

14. Guest conduct and safety

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, artists, DJs, performers, partners, and venue property.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, violence, offensive behavior, or any form of unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.

Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the venue, furniture, equipment, glassware, decor, or other property.

Sous Sol reserves the right to request compensation for damages caused intentionally or through negligence.

15. Smoking and electronic cigarettes

Smoking is allowed only outside, in designated or legally permitted areas.

Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices are accepted inside the venue, unless staff indicate otherwise due to event format, safety, comfort, or operational reasons.

Guests must respect staff instructions and applicable Romanian legislation regarding smoking and vaping.

16. Outside food and drinks

Guests are not allowed to bring outside food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, or other consumable products into Sous Sol unless expressly approved by the venue in advance.

Exceptions may apply for private events or special arrangements only if discussed and approved directly with Sous Sol.

17. Dress code

Sous Sol applies a general smart casual dress code.

Guests are asked to avoid clothing or accessories that are offensive, discriminatory, aggressive, explicit, or inappropriate for the atmosphere of the venue.

Sous Sol reserves the right to refuse access where clothing, behavior, or presentation may affect the comfort, safety, or experience of other guests.

18. Photography, filming, and social media

Guests are generally allowed to take photos and videos for personal use, provided they do not disturb other guests, staff, artists, or the normal operation of the venue.

Professional photo shoots, commercial filming, press materials, influencer campaigns, brand shoots, or production setups require prior approval from Sous Sol.

During events, Sous Sol or its partners may take photos and videos for communication, social media, promotional, or archival purposes.

19. Lost items and personal belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting Sous Sol.

Sous Sol is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal items, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Lost items found at the venue will be deposited and may be recovered directly from Sous Sol.

21. Intellectual property
